While we were in Bali, we stayed at Maya Ubud Resort. This is how the entrance looks like at night. I tried to take the picture just like how they have it in one of those guide books.

This is the room (or more like a house) we stayed at in Maya Ubud. They had a TV and satellite broadcast and all that. I took this picture in the evening, just before getting dark.

This is one of the two pools at Maya Ubud. Over the far end, there was a deep valley which gave me a good impression of being in the nature.

We came across several festivals while we were in Bali. Women carried a basket filled with fruits and other food to the temple. At one of the festival we saw, there was a real long line of women with those baskets.

This is another picture of people heading to a festival. These women went a long way to Gunung Kawi (which you'll see below) with those baskets on their head.

We saw two different kinds of dances at Bali, Kecak Dance and Barong Dance. The picture is one scene of Barong Dance. We saw this one at our dinner table at Maya Ubud.

At the temple of Pura Tirta Empul, people bath as a ritual in what is said to be the Holy Spring.

This is the Tegallalang Rice Terrace. The field on slopes of the valley goes on for miles.

Gunung Kawi is a ruins of ancient Bali, made around 11th century.

This is one place I cannot remember where. This monster like thing is an entrance of a cave.

I saw a lot of interesting statues in Bali. They were mostly decoration in front of a house or a shop. I think they have some religious meanings, but I'm not sure. I like the expression on this guys face. He looks somewhat melancholy.
